Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water.
Heat uncovered on medium-high. As soon as the water begins to boil, remove from heat and cover. Let sit for 12 minutes.

Fill a medium size bowl with cold water and a few ice cubes.

With a slotted spoon, place the eggs in the bowl of cold water.

Crack each egg on the side of the bowl. Allow them to cool in the water.

Peel and enjoy.
